Unless it's for your 'Residency', then you certainly need to see a doctor first, to establish whether an X-Ray is appropriate, and to subsequently interpret the X-Ray.

Otherwise, how would you know what the X-Ray showed? It is not a trivial matter to 'read' an X-Ray!

Wkat makes you think that you may require an X-Ray?

There are alternative diagnostic techniques, all the way from Palpitation & Ultrasound to MRI, depending on what the issue is...

You can try LETAM in Girne, they are doing all kind of x-rays, ultrasound etc. I used to undergo ultrasound exams there regularly without having a recom from a doctor, the doctor there is fluent in English and explained later the results to me. For a smaller extra charge you also can get a report in English apart from the one in Turkish. LETAM is situated next to the HSBC Bank, one road further on in direction to Girne center.
My wife also did some kind of bone x ray there without a recommendation from a doctor.
For further details you can write me a pm.

Letam are highly recommended. Dr Arkin who runs the Girne branch is a really nice guy and very helpful. They do x-rays, ultrasound, doppler and some other stuff in Girne but their place in Lefkosa (opp the state hospital) does CT and MRI.
