What the hell was that!
At around 21.20 a big orange coloured ball / light moved across the sky from West to east. Quite low and not moving fast. Tried to take a photo but did not do justice. Amazing!

Wow. Was staring at a computer screen then so saw nothing. Anyone else saw them/it. Maybe the aliens have landed at last and will sort out our problems.

Check again this evening at the time given.
If it's the same speed - it was the space station (it's appearance may change depending on atmospheric conditions)

According to the NASA timetable, the IIS was not visible over the TRNC for the evening in question - so unless Tim Peake was having a joke on us - the mystery deepens.

So glad I wasn't the only one that seen it, was beginning to think I was seeing things. I cannot possibly think of any explanation as to what it could have been and was far too big to be any of the things mentioned, i.e. chinese lanterns or the iss. this was quite some size. i kept a look out for a while after it happened and no signs of anything else, baffled to say the least.

Re: What the hell was that!
We had the same experience last year. It was a yellow ball moving quickly & moved from seaside towards the mountains & disappeared. We scoured the forum to see if anyone else saw it, but it would appear not. 4 of us saw it & it was early evening.
Very strange & still no answers, we thought a possible meteorite??? It was still light too.

Re: What the hell was that!
We saw something very similar. Couple of weeks ago Saturday evening sitting on our terrace at Esentepe and out in front of us a bright ball of light in the sky very low, silent but very fast travelling west to east in a dead straight line and then just completely disappeared.
It was very low as we was looking outward not upward, so def' not the ISS as I have seen that too in the past so know what that looks like and this was nothing like it. Weird.
