Sat Nav map advise please

I have a Tom Tom Go 5000 which has options to purchase maps including one for Eastern Europe which appears to include both North and South Cyprus. Has anyone used a Tom Tom map here? I just wanted to check whether it does cover North Cyprus and if so, whether the coverage is accurate before purchasing.
All advice greatly appreciated. Thanks, Martine

Martine, assuming you live near or can get to Girne. There is a GPS provider on the same road as The Arkin Colony Hotel. If the hotel is on your right as you leave town, the GPS shop is further on also on the right. Your query will be receive a technically-correct reply. This outlet certainly provides N. Cyprus coverage with various features.

I'm unsure as to whether TomTom maps include
routable coverage of
North Cyprus; however,
for Garmin users, I can confirm there are routable maps for the North (and south). For the last four years I've been using the (latest available) version from
www.cymps.com.
There are also "Pegasus maps of Greece and Cyprus"
here, but I haven't tried this yet, so cannot say whether the North is covered.
