Anyone else with a Smart TV and it is not working this am?

I have a Samsung Smart TV that was working perfectly well last night but this morning it will turn on but I can't use any of the Apps. The cursor is just stuck on the Google App. I have tried both remotes, changed the batteries etc. Turned it off and on at the mains, everythjng, but no joy. I wonder if here has been a software update or anything that has caused this and if so has anyone else got the same issue? The TV is just 2 weeks over a year old and hopefully still nder warranty.

Ours also has a problem in that it starts then picture goes, returns and repeats in a loop of the same issue. It also shows the recent box in bottom left corner when picture is on. Not sure how to cure this. Will try internet for a possible solution.

Having switched TV and receiver box on and off for the 3rd time over an hour, the problem has disappeared - hopefully.

Yes mine is exactly the same problem but still in a loop. I have removed the internet cable and it is now working from my laptop which it wouldn't before because i was not able to change tge source, Hopefully it is just a blip! Relieved to know it is not just my set!

Just seen this, apparently Samsung are aware of the problem and are working on it:

If you have woken up and your #Samsung Smart TV is constantly turning off and on you need to:
* Turn off your Router,
* Turn the TV on,
* Go to the Menu,
* Then Smart Hub,
* Then Home Screen Settings and turn OFF the Auto Start.
You can then turn your Router back on.
Samsung know about this problem and this is a quick fix until they have figured out what to do.
The guy on the phone said they have over 700 calls waiting in the queue! Took me 35 minutes to get through for a 2 minute help chat!

Will post again if/when any more info.
