From Ozankoy towards the ring road and follow the lefkosa road
When you get to the bypass island travel west on the bypass
Continue out past the night clubs on the right (after 20 minutes driving )
the road starts to wind and go up hill reseviour on the left lots of digging going on
At the top of the hill right turn to cambelli after 5 minutes a giant tulip on your left
then a brown signpost to mavi kosk
IMPORTANT
Closed Mondays
Take passports for every one in the car its an army base

When you have completed your visit turn right and follow the road you go through a matonite villiage
carry onto the coast and go as if you are going as far west as possible theres a nice cafe for a bite to eat
After that follow the coast road beautiful views back to lapta coast you come out by the night clubs
leave at 10 back by 3 pm

You will have to leave a passport with the Soldiers at the barrier to the grounds of the Blue House (Mavi Kosk) they give you a receipt, there were 4 of us but they only asked for 1 passport. Take a camera some nice gardens and a little Kiosk for drinks served by the Army lads.

Big problem with Mavi Kosk is the price has gone up 50%.
It is still the best value 3TL (yes three) you will get here.
The first time we went we had an English speaking guide after that we were given a written guide to go around the house with, so if you need glasses for reading (like me) it is worth taking them just in case. We have been 4 times now with different guests and none have been disappointed and we still find things we have missed before.
Finally to confirm some of the above, do not go on monday, you must have ID for every member of the party. After your visit turn right on exit to pass through Korocam, on to Sadrazamkoy and return along the coast for stunning views.

Perhaps better to be on the safe side but we were only ever asked for 1 passport in the 6 times we have visited even though we have always been 4 as we always take someone else with us, it isn't advertised very much and when you tell people about it they want to go.

Hi cyprusishome, the original location of the "five lamps" was redeveloped for the A66.
The apprentices of Head Wrightson made a replica of them, and these are located on Westbury Street close to the location of the original lamps.
the original lamps are now sited outside Littleboy park / Cemetry.
My wife and I both come from thornaby although we dont live there now.
