Warning ATM Garanti Bank Karakum!

I have posted on another heading [b]Lost ATM Money[/b](sorry I don't know how to link it) about an incident I had regarding the ATM not dispensing £500 after the receipt was issued, due to a break in the connection. Why would a receipt be issued before the money is dispensed anyway? I went into Garanti Bank but they could not help me because my account was not one of theirs and they told me not to worry and to contact my bank to resolve it. I may have misunderstood but I am sure the guy I spoke to said he could see the error.
I therefore referred the incident to my bank, Nationwide, who opened a dispute with the Garanti Bank and they have just received the decision from Garanti to say that no error occurred and the withdrawal was successful! Nationwide have said unfortunately they have no control over the ATM's and the banks decision and there is nothing else they can do if the dispute has been declined!
Clearly someone would have noticed that the ATM was £500 up that day so what happened to it if it is now not showing?! I can guess!!!
