Apart from driving what is the best way to get from Larnaca to Kyrenia?

It would be a long walk.....

Book a transfer using a company here in the north....there are many and recommendations can be found on this forum. We have used A one and PickupNorth Cyprus. If you are hiring a car, then the hire car company (A One is a hire car company) may well do transfer at reduced cost as you are hiring carfrom them.

Get a taxi from Larnaca all the way....expensive?

If you have time and want an adventure we have used the airport shuttle from Larnaca airport to coach station just outside Nicosia, then taxi to Ledra Palace, walked across the border and found taxi or dolmus to Girne. Our kids have done the transfer from airport to Nicosia, taxi to Ledra Palace and we have picked them up.

Put a call out on the forum to see if anyone else is dropping off or picking up on same day....you may be able to grab a lift. BUT they must not be running an illegal taxi or pick up operation.

Agree about Kombos

It was 8Euro when we last used coach. Coach station is a fair hike from Ledra Palace tho.... Or even to the crossing in centre of city. We and other family members have got taxi from coach station to Ledra Palace crossing point and then walked across.
