Looking to book two weeks from scotland at beginning of next april . Flight prices seem really high with turkish airlines, any other suggestions?

Thomson GLA- LCA £ 459 !! pp
Jet2 GLA-LCA Schedule starts 26th April

could almost fly to Thailand for that price- in fact may do so instead

We come out late April every year for 6 weeks and the return price is always between £250 and £300. We were a bit concerned this time that on the Edinburgh - Istanbul leg of the journey (we have used TA since they started flying from Edinburgh) the plane was only abut 1/3 full so don't know if people are avoiding travelling to Turkey because of the bombs there etc. If you can I would hang off booking for a while as the prices may well come down (if the route can continue to operate) Have done Glw/Larnaca with Thomas Cook a few times in the past - not a pleasant flight at all. You may want to look at Edinburgh or Glasgow to Stansted and then Pegasus to Ercan which we have also done many times. It is a long journey to do for only a fortnight.

I've checked with jetcost works out just over £250. Remember that your luggage is included as well not like jet2 everything is plus. We wait when we are flying in April or May to book 8 weeks before. If you are flexible within a week. We got this years for the two of us £372 with TA. We were £45 cheaper last year. For us flying from Edinburgh it's not to bad.

if I could find the flights for £250 I'd book them - coming out at £320 at the moment??

What dates and did you go onto jetcost.co.uk

I didn't know when you were going so I put in 21st -28th when I would be going around and £511 for two

This was for EDI-ECN 21/4/17

Flying out Sat 1st April and back Sat 15th April- cheapest £315- may wait a bit and see?
