For reasons that don't really matter, we have, for one particular bank in UK been advised to change Browser from Google because for one reason or another it is mucking up connections between them and ourselves here. I've checked on the top ten browsers and Firefox seems to come top of the list a number of times. What are Kibcomers recommendations for ease of use and reliability please. Thanks.

I use both Firefox and IE simultaneously, Firefox by far the most stable of the 2.

Another for Firefox; I've been using it from shortly after it started. I do also have Internet Explorer which I very occasionally use, and Chrome for when I want sites translated "as I go".
(Used to prefer Netscape Navigator when that was still available.... )

Strangely when I use my iPad with Firefox, I can not get into the forum but if I use Goggle it goes straight into it.

Well I'm going to have a go with Firefox and hope I've not gone from frying pan into the fire. Its on advice from UK bank. We've being having problems with internet banking and they suspect that Google have upgraded something which in turn has overridden some of the passwords.

Strangely, I normally use Firefox without problems, but when I access the Easyjet website, although I can make a booking, I cannot get into any part of the drop-down menu associated with "Manage Bookings".
For that I have to use Microsoft Edge.

Am going to bite the bullet today and download Firefox but one last question will I have to uninstall anything prior to doing so, or will Firefox automatically override everything else. I don't want Browsers going up against each other and me being the sufferer. Sorry to seem like a real duffer 'cos I am

The first time that you use your new browser, you will see a message asking whether you want it to be your default browser, once you've said 'yes', it won't bother you again.
If, for any reason, you use the original browser after that, you will be asked if you want to 'revert' to it.
You can transfer all of your bookmarks and favourites to your new browser - it will probably prompt you to do so, although you may need to sort them out a little.

Well I'm not happy with it at all. I only changed from Google to Firefox on one of my laptops thank heavens because it has now completely altered the size of print on Emails, any number of websites and loads more. It has stopped me from getting into NTV plus other stuff and am advised by them to stop using Firefox and go back to Google.!!!
