EFRAR 2016 - CHEQUE PRESENTATION

Last year we presented a cheque for just over TL100,000 to the Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) and we wondered if we would ever raise that much again. However, with great determination, a dedicated committee, great support from Raziye Kocaïsmaïl and her team we achieved a record amount of TL192, 863
This amount was raised over the course of many events, not just the Fun Run and specifically, this year, we received an outstanding donation of TL70,000 from a consortium of businessmen. Raziye raised a significant amount despite of her family illnesses. The friends of Marian Stokes donated over TL9000 and our Carrington Shield winner, 14 year old Kai Fletcher raised an unbelievable TL19,000 which all went to appreciably enhance our overall total.
Since its inception in 2011, EFRAR has raised close to TL507,000 for the Association and this has been achieved with the help of many businesses and individuals all of whom believe in the great work the Association does and will continue to do.
The Committee for 2016 want to raise even more money in 2017 and will work even harder to achieve this aim but it can only be done with the generosity of those who believe in what we do.
Our sincere thanks goes to everyone who has helped, in any way, over the last year and we hope you will be there for us in 2017.
