I have a Samsung S6 and have noticed when I am on a call that there is a constant buzzing/vibrating noise which is not only very annoying but it makes it hard to hear what the caller is saying. I had the phone unlocked 2 days ago at one of the phone shops in Girne going down to the harbour and now have a Turkcell sim in there so dont know if this may have caused this .
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this or recommend anywhere I can take it to?

I have found that the following procedure is a good starting point for any smartphone issues: -

Switch the 'phone OFF
Remove the back
Remove the battery
Count to 10
Kick it ... (Only joking!!!)
Refit battery, reassemble, and switch on again.
Try it to see if the issue is resolved.
If it is, have a drink.
If it isn't, have a drink, and then take it to a 'phone shop

Or Google the problem. There seems to be a number of items covering the buzzing noise, maybe the camera sensor?

Thanks, I had Googled the problem but couldn't find a solution for this particular problem. The buzzing only occurs when I am on a call and most others have reported buzzing with the camera. With regards taking the back off it seems that the S6 is a sealed unit so I will take it to a shop in town and hopefully they can help. Can anyone recommend a good one or would I be better to take it to the Samsung shop? Thanks

There are reports that using the 'HD calling' function on this phone can lead to symptoms that you describe. However 'HD calling' is a network operator feature and how you disable it and even what it is called can vary depending on what network you are on. I do not even know if either of the network operators here (Turkcell and Telsim) use 'HD Calling' or not I am afraid. If you can find any settings under 'calls' along the lines of 'advanced calling' or 'VoLTE' or 'HD Calling' I would try turning these off and see if it solves the problem or not.

Thanks Erol, I tried that but can't find anything in the phone settings relating to HD calling or Volte so I am guessing I am not on that part of the network that uses it. I'll pop into the Samsung shop next week and see if they can suggest anything. Shame if I can't resolve t because apart from the buzzing t s a great phone!
