Courier Service to UK

I may need a courier service in the near future to deliver an important piece of mail to UK.

I am seeking recommendations for a reliable and fast courier service that can be tracked to the UK destination.

DHL - they now operate out of what was The Property Centre in Alsancak. Expensive maybe but trackable.

Called in at the new Property Services Shop in Alsancak (what used to be The Property Centre), and yes, thanks sammydavis, they do offer a DHL service - Phone 0533 833 06 16

Allow up to 5 days for your letter or parcel to get to destination in UK. A typical A4 letter or document which is traceable will cost around 51 TL. Prices will vary dependent on weight.

I think you will find it is 51 Euros. I use get documents sent here reguarly by DHL from UK generally around 75.00 stg. and was pleasantly surprised to be quoted 51, on the phone . Of course to me I live I TRNC so 51 is T.L. I thought that's a good price. So of i trot with my 51 TL.

It's not its 51 Euro. Very nice helpful guy, but people should stipulate if a different currency to T.L.

I had some one working on our villa quite a few years ago and he quoted me 60 per day, at the time the going rate was 50 TL. Came to pay him his 300 TL at the end of the week. You've guessed it . 60 Stg.

.............although when I was quoted the 51 today I did say ....TL and did a quick conversion at today's exchange rate, commenting that £12-£15 depending on the exchange rate was reasonable!!!!!!!!!!

To confirm ,I have just been in and sent i package 2 A 4 documents , at today's rate it was 170 TL. 51 euro's.
