Yet another cover up in the Uk

The Birmingham pup bombings in 1974 are now being re-investigated.
Hopefully the massive cover up by the police,government of the day and the legal system will be exposed and the families of the victims will get to know the truth.
Another- Hillesborough in the making.

Oh Art, if it were only that possible! The 'system' will gather and follow the age-old tradition of bluff and bluster.

The old 'endangering state security' will no doubt be invoked to make sure the truth is never fully known... i.e. How far in advance the services knew a bomb was going to go off and how much 'collateral damaged' was adjudged acceptable/suitable to harm the IRA cause.... ?
It seems they were in all likelihood sacrificed on the altar of 'bigger issues...'.

As one, then very senior member of the IRA, and now a "respectable person" said a couple of days ago on one of the news programmes "the truth will never come out and the guilty will never be charged". Sadly, I suspect he was totally correct.

And this speaks volumes about the police and others who were been part of this massive cover up.
The police should hang their head in shame for their involvement and the wrong conviction of the Birmingham 6 who were tortured in order to bring a quick end to their investigations.
