Would like to know, who to contact, cost, what I would need to do etc etc
And Girne or Nicosia ???

My wife has just had this operation in a small private hospital in Lefkosia,it cost just under 2000stg.We also priced it at NEU hospital where it was slightly cheaper.As it was her having the op i let her choose but personnely i would have chosen NEU.Hope this helps.

Friend who was a theatre sister in UK went to Cyprus Life for hers. No problems.

My daughter had her gall bladder removed at the state hospital, no problems at all.
After a few health problems over here, we've realised that half the time you get the same surgeon
doing the op. in the state hospital as you would in the private hopitals. The difference is, you pay for
five star facilities in private hospitals, also the after care is better.

Ff, yes that's the same as in England. The same surgeons work for the NHS and Private Hospitals, but it's as you say, all the extra care and attention and comfort that you get in Private Hospitals that make all the difference.
