Hi,
Friends of ours have gone away on a cruise two days ago, their elderly mum and carer are at the house. Suddenly the TV has gone pear shaped, it says "weak or no signal, check cable connection and equipment settings"
I went to help but have limited knowledge, their internet is Multimax, rang them no joy there, they have internet, TV is NTV. Tried re setting the router, unplugging the Mag box, still no joy. If anyone can advise would appreciate it.
Can you call me on 0533 876 2204, cheers. The owners are not back for 12 days!!

Is there a button on the remote that has a square with a arrow pointing in to it (source button )
If all the lights are on your NTV box try pressing the source button, it should bring a list of connected items scroll to the ntv box,
My tv defaults to tv ,which is used when connected to a arial on the roof so I have to manualy select my tv box.
hope this helps

I have found when you call up ntv on Internet and go to chat line they are quite helpful, give it a try.

As Kerry6138 has said the message you are seeing on the TV means the TV is one the wrong source.
You need to change the source on the TV using the TY remote control (as Kerry 6138) has said. The source button usually looks like a rectangle with a line going into one side of the rectangle. Depending which input the NTV box is plugged into you may have tried the different possible sources on the TV (AV1, AV2 etc or HDMI 1, HDMI 2 etc).
The message you are seeing means you are on 'aerial' for your source which is definitely not the right source for the NTV box.
