Break-ins in Ozankoy

There has been a break in at our friends villa in Ozankoy, above Erols restaurant. The villa is let to holiday makers and the perpetrators got in within the last 24 hours and stole money. I pads, smart phones, laptop etc were all left. This also happened in April when the last guests were there and again it was money stolen but very strangely they also took 3 wall mounted controls for the underfloor heating. The police came on both occasions and all locks were changed before the arrival of these latest guests. There was no sign of a break in so the police have no idea how anyone has got in this time! Is anyone aware of any other similar break ins in the area?

Sorry to hear.
This is about number 28 of this stint of recent burglaries unfortunately, if you have a look in this section of the forum you will see one reported every few days. My house was also targeted. All of the break ins have been in a similar style, taking only money and jewelry and leaving larger items and there have been other things linking all of them to the same person/people and there is a full description of the main suspect found in these other threads also.

No signs of a break in seems suspicious, do they use a property management company?
It's possible the company could have a rogue employee

Maybe the holiday makers accidentally left a window/door open?

I think someone pm'd me earlier but the message disappeared, they said that they saw some young man walking up and down the street and wanted a description of the person.
He has blond/light brown hair, european looking, about 5 foot 8, slim build........if this guy has been on your road and you don't recognise him from the area it is more than likely someone on that street is going to be burgled in the coming days.
My cousins friends in Girne said there were two more there in the last week too, how much money does this little thief need?!

With CCTV becoming more and more common in the TRNC I'm surprised nobody has posted footage of this thief ? ?
