Sorry I am confused did you buy this insurance for the North side as most of us do not do that?
When travelling South we buy the compulsory 3rd party insurance for €25 per month but our normal TC policy covers us for comprehensive in the South anway.

BB our TC policy covers us for the whole of Europe but the GC's do not accept it their own insurance is compulsory if you want to drive over there.
Rigsby thanks for explanation as said above most of us do not cross South to North so have no experience of the price of insurance but years ago I did get a policy for someone who had a GC car & homes on both sides which might be worth considering if you travel over frequently.
