Hello Kibkomers, I'm looking for recommendations for fully comp car insurance please. I know there are lots of companies/banks that offer it but I'd like to know which ones are particularly good to deal with in the event of an accident. I've had a bad experience with one and am not 100% satisfied with my current provider and it's time to renew. Many thanks in advance!

Try ESTA. The company advertises on this forum.

ESTA also offers b/d recovery north and south 24/7.

I find Steve and the team at Esta very efficient and have down for many years.

Elzim Insurance are good. We had our house insurance with them but they cover cars as well. I am getting contact details to post shortly. They are government backed and offer excellent advise.

I am with Elzim for both house and car too however I have not had to make a claim.

Been with a couple of companies, the latest being CreditWest Bank and I had an accident and could not fault them . One came to the scene, and everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently. So I am styaing withthem!

definitely Trevor. we broke down one Sunday afternoon, telephoned Trevor and he organised the pick up truck, all part of the insurance which covers breakdown the other side

Definately Trevor offering insurance with Dagli Sigorta. Having tried various local companies he is definately the best. Well organised and at the end of the phone if you have problems. Also offering various small add-on perks such as discount on MOT.

Totally agree best I have known in 10yrs here and I have delta with most Trevor is best

It's on seaside of main road before Tempo when heading West. I'm going there this morning to pick up my car insurance so I'll try to post better directions later. He will meet you at Lemar Karakum if you live East of Girne, we usually do that but I was going to Alsancak anyway.

It's almost opposite Exotic Kumas which is on mountain side of main road, about 30 metes East of Tempo. Opens at 9am.

I'd also recommend Trevor & Mary Hughes with Dagli Sigorta. Great service, always at the end of a phone and will 'go the extra mile' to help and also a mine of info for general advice about living in the TRNC. They are usually also at Chateau Lambousa market on Saturday mornings.
