How do you get electric bills ???

We have not had an electric bill since December can anyone help We live in Alsancak

You need to email Kibtek info@kibtek.com and send the following details from your bill:
The full name as shown on your last bill
a 14 digit number usually starting with 0300
the 7 digit hesap number starting with 00

I get mine from Creditwest online system. There are no details other than amount and payment date but that hasn't worried me yet as they have all been about what I would expect. And of course I just pay online.

I imagine most banks have a similar service.

JBA, What you see is the amount paid by the bank (Direct Debit).

Simon, To get a bill you can register your phone and e-mail address with KibTec. You will then get (monthly) a SMS with the amount due followed by an e-mail with the full monthly account in English and Turkish.

What I see is the amount I must pay - if I don't take action then it doesn't get paid. The bill appears the day it is issued.

If I had set up a direct debit then it would be paid automatically and I would see, as you say, the amount paid - and it would be too late to query it if it appears wrong.

As JudyVin says, email Kibtek. We did this at the end of last year and not only dud they send us the entire years electricity bills breakdown, they have continued to send us our detailed bill every month as soon as the meters are read

Thomas, are you in the TRNC currently? If so, go to your nearest Kibetec office with the paperwork described earlier and sort your billing problem there and then. If not, ask a friend to do it for you or authorise a bank direct debit. It is not difficult.

I registered as a new customer last September, giving them my email address. In December, I registered online using their new system, again giving my email address. On one occasion only, I was subsequently able to get details online of my usage and charges. I then received just one bill (the first) by email in February. When I returned in April, I went to the Kibtek office and once again gave them my email address - since then, I've received a bill by email every month, April onwards - let's hope it continues!

Did all of the above never received anything. I just go to the bank give my details and pay there.

Yes, I get mine emailed every month. I go to the bank as uiu do Deniz and pay using a previous receipt but it is nice to know in advance what you have been billed for and how much you will need at the bank.

Perhaps you just have to go to the office and give your email address twice - then they know you're being serious..!

I get a text message telling me my bill has been sent to my E-mail address and there it is!However one month it is approx half the normal charge and the next month twice the normal charge!! Hey ho they must understand it.
