DVD Player. The tray has stopped working despite the motor running.
Any suggestions for repair or somewhere that could check it out.
Might be cheaper to buy a new one?

Depends where you live. If in the east there is a small computer shop (AC&DC) next to Funky Diva's hair place - he is very good and will only repair it if it is worth it, if not then he will either sell you another or point you towards a place that sells different ones. Have used him for years and never been let down yet.
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

The Guy next to Funky Diva's is good , but faced with a similar issue I bought a new Sony for £25 via Amazon and delivered to PO Box in the south

I second waddo's recommendation - I'll take a stab at the name - Açdınc - I've probably got my c & ç the wrong way around!waddo wrote:Depends where you live. Both Father and Son are very knowledgeable, competent, and honest.
If you're lucky, it will be the rubber drive belt that drives the tray mechanism...
