It is clear that this forum is a great service to everyone with a connection or interest in everything North Cyprus and long may it continue.

Thank you Soner to my email reply, probably had load to do but I just had to make sure not my end if that makes sense. Well done.

Poor Soner. I am sure he lost even more hair from his bald head, slept less, worried more but with a good team of helpers, fixed it. He advises that he is not sure what it was. Just hope it was not those nasty hackers again, but nothing proven , olther than a big head ache to many which, hip hip horray, Soner solved.

But also what a great accolade for KibKom that it was so missed. Says a lot for all the harde work Soner has put in over the years to make it a forum of great vlaue to so many people.

I agree 100% with you, there is so so much information, advice, telephone numbers, tips, fixes.

The list is really too long to type but I know without this forum I would have to do a lot more work digging around for advice I need.

Glad you are back, was having a wee panic yesterday. Like another poster, thought it was my fault I couldn't get in to the forum - just had my laptop fixed and having to install and update everything.
Thank you Soner and team for the hard work to get everything back on track, and for your hard work throughout the year to give us a great forum.

Like (apparently) so many others, I was suffering withdrawal symptons yesterday; kept trying to score two or three times each hour, all to no avail - however, looking up the 'error message', it suggested that a database on the server may have been corrupted - i.e. very loosely, a sort of checklist to allow access got damaged, and so wouldn't let anyone or anything access - so needed finding/repairing/replacing/rebuilding - not too simple a job!
Many thanks to Soner (et al) for all the hard work; as said, it's an extremely useful, helpful (and usually peaceful and friendly! ) site - I'm grateful that I am allowed to be a member of it!

Was it another Ddos attack ?
