Has anyone tried the Sunny Cyprus Offer as advertised in Cyprus Today, Sky Sports etc re Live TV Channels. I currently am with NTV, which allows me to have all Sky Sports & Live channels. The only Draw back is I have to plug my Laptop into TV & then bring up the channels. A Mag box I assume costing around £40/£50, would be better, but Sunny Cyprus deal is 789TL one off payment. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have never paid for TV on the Island. If you are even slightly tech savvy you can Do It Yourself. Get a Mag or android box and google how to use them. It is remarkably simple to get any TV you want for free (apart from the cost of a box and an internet connection). You Tube is stuffed with info.

Hilltop if you compare the Mag to the Minix you will see a vast difference. The Mag only has 250k of ran the Minix has 2gig.
This will be the differenice between lots of buffering and just a small amount when the Internet is slow.
I have used the Minix system for over twould years and l am very pleased with it.
Just do a bit of research on the net and make your choice, the Minix cost a lot more than the mag but one works on Kodi and the mag works on Linux.

All very true, but meaningless to most.

I use a mid priced Android box and a few apps to get free TV, Films and box sets. As long as my internet is good (and it is, (Broadmax)) I have every channel known to man for free. I only use KODI as a backup system.

I've just ruined my tablet trying to spray that bug????

Sprays are never effective - but a big hammer is.......

Don't buy it. We did it's rubbish. You can't update it, have to take it back to them as they lock it. It also constantly buffers

I have decided to go down the route of Kodi system - fingers crossed.
