NTV update

Recently had an e-mail from NTV Team about updating my MAG set-top box.
The instructions attached to the mail might as well be in Chinese as I cannot even get past Instruction No.1.
Is there a kind soul out there that has the time to talk me through this?
I will happily pay for the call if we do this over the phone.

TRNCVaughan, my wife recently did ours. When she has finished re-painting the generator cover, I'll ask her to see if she can remember what she did. If she can, l'll ask her to call you. If you hear nothing, she cannot remember.

Sounds complicated if you have to repaint the generator cover, will it still work if you don't repaint the generator cover and what happens if you do not have a generator

Hopefully, he's now being helped - he can now shoulder the load, with more power to his elbow, as there's no arm in it, 'cos it's off the cuff, you have to hand it to him and he's gripped it etc and on we go!!

Many, many thanks to the kind lady who talked me through it slowly, step-by-step and with much patience. I messed up once and had to start again, but she was unfazed.
All now OK.

I sent the e mail to my TV company and they updated it from there end.
