Poisoned dog? Karsiyaka

Just bumped into eusef (apologise for spelling) - pool cleaner -
Asked him about his dog diesel ( German shepherd type poss cross.)
He said he'd been poisoned he thinks - this morning. Description he gave would suggest that. Plus he'd been seen just prior to time he was found looking well.
WHO and WHY was this done?
Don't condone this in any way for any animal . But diesel was well looked after and was not a noisy dog at all.
Why subject any animal to suffer? And if someone has a problem don't be a coward - talk -

Totally heart breaking
Yusuf is our pool cleaner and near neighbour and we believe he had discovered the dog just after returning home after cleaning our pool..
Spoke to him shortly after the incident and he was in tears and absolutely beside himself.
He had offered "Diesel" a home when one of his customers had to return to UK and couldn't take him back with him.
He really was a big softly and didn't cause a problem to anyone.
Wicked cruel people who carry out these senseless acts.

As far as I know Diesel stayed in the garden. What a dreadful thing for someone to have done

Yes found him in his garden.
He put a fence around his house so he could run free. When he found he could jump that if he was out he'd be on a long chain. Which let him roam quite far on his land. With water and shade
A responsible caring owner.

Very sad for the owner and a nasty death for the poor doggy. Why do people do this ?
Some people have no conscious or concern for other's suffering ;-((

Whoever this evil person(s) is/are, they have no right to be on this earth. My deepest condolences to Yusuf and his family and to the perpetrator(s) - I hope you suffer a similar fate, but the suffering you endure is a thousand times what you inflicted upon a defenceless and innocent animal. Inşallah!!!

My belief in karma tells me not to wish such things on someone but if I'm honest I am of a similar opinion. For me if you poison an animal of intelligence you are as bad as someone that poisons a human, just because they have paws instead of hands and communicate in a different way does not make them worthless.
The person that thinks it does make them worthless must think equally little of humans that are born with disabilities that too make them unable to communicate, would they poison someone like that too?
I am so sorry for the man who has lost his companion.

Could it possibly have been a snake bite. The symptoms are similar.
