All you stargazers on Kibkom. While swimming around 20-15 today, noticed around maybe 9or 10 lights forming similar to a triangle. Looked on I-pad,it says it's Hubble Space Telescope. Did anyone else see it,really clear tonight. Will be over Lapta/ Karsiyaka area about now. 20-46.

Sorry but it certainly wasn't Hubble. Several reasons:-
Hubble has a fixed orbit which is more or less equatorial. Cyprus is on the extreme edge of the area within which Hubble can be viewed and it is always fairly low down on the southern horizon. Therefore this side of the mountains you would be very unlikely to see it.
Hubble isn't even as bright as the Space Station and certainly you would not distinguish individual lights as it has none - what you do see, as with the Space Station, is sunlight reflected off the structure.
It did come within viewing range of Cyprus yesterday but only once and that was just after 4am for 2.5 minutes.

JBA,according to Skyscanner on I-Pad it was visible, actually shows its orbit. I'm not arguing with what you say, does this mean these apps available for Apple devices etc are rubbish? I appreciate that they are not lights but reflection of the sun. If what you say is correct, what would you suggest it was?

Not wanting to offend, but is your "Skyscanner" app set up for your current location? I have a program (Stellarium) on my laptops; when first installed, it is set to some default location (can't remember where), so on the laptop that remains in the UK, the location (and local time) is set for there, in order that an accurate reproduction of the sky appears for that time and place. Similarly, the laptop that travels to TRNC is set for there - if viewing the "Cyprus" laptop in the UK, things are way out of place and time!

I have absolutely no idea what it might be - even if I'd seen it I doubt I could have offered an explanation.
It's just that I took an interest in Hubble about 3 months ago because I thought I'd seen it. However, once I read the facts I realised I was mistaken and it was probably one of the 1000's of satellites and bits of space junk that are visible from earth.
The Space Station is a different matter and it is often visible from Cyprus. If you go to the NASA website it will tell you exactly when to watch:-

Jofra, yes my I-pad is set up to here. I can only state what it tells me. It said it was definitely Hubble! It also said the highest it would be was 02-05!

Is that 02 t0 05 degrees elevation?

Think it meant highest point at 02-05AM. It was definitely something moving quite quickly & was certainly not an plane & it showed it as clear as on my I- pad. I believe it was Hubble, there will be others that wil tell me different!
