Thanks to moderators/Rules of the Forum

I recently had the experience of a member on here making personal attacks against me on a couple of contentious threads. I brought it to the attention of the mods and it was dealt with quite swiftly. It was the first time that I've experienced this on this forum, we all like a joke and a bit of banter but these comments were quite nasty, personal and totally unnecessary. Some of the posters on here may remember the old days with Cyprus 44 and before that Steve and Barbara's original North Cyprus forum. Threads on these old forums became like battlegrounds, with personal insults flying left, right and centre. There was one particular poster from the South (I won't give his moniker but many of us will remember him with mixed feelings), who was able to bring confrontation to a new art form. I lost count of the number of people who offered to meet him on neutral ground to "sort things out". Thankfully this forum has been a breath of fresh air up until now because I have seen very little of this sort of disturbing behaviour on Kibkom.
Soner has rules for the forum which I assume include no racism and no personal insults or attacks. However when I click on the Rules button on the forum i am unable to get info on what the rules regarding posting actually are. Common decency dictates that we treat each other with respect - having a difference of opinion with someone should not bring out the basest instincts of any of us. This is not the place to pick a fight with someone or take a cheap swipe. Could the moderators please make clear what will not be tolerated on this forum to prevent further occurences. I would like to keep the baseball bat in the sports cupboard where it belongs.
