There is land close by our villa that supposedly belongs to the forestry commission. How would we go about finding out who owns the land? Someone (deff NOT the owner) has tidied it up but in removing the plants etc the dust and dirt is now a constant hassle for us.
Ideally we would like to purchase the spot for a car port OR at least be able, with consent - (thats the hard bit) lay shingle down to minimise the dust clouds.
any suggestions as to where we start searching
good place to purchase shingle (or any other stabilising product)
thanks
waste land or maybe not!

Go to the tapu with your Kocan or site plan and they should be able to tell you the owner of the land.

Then you are under the Girne Municipality. The District Land Office (Tapu) is next to the State Hospital in Girne. Google Map it.
