Can anybody tell me if my grandchildren can get to see the turtles anywhere other than Algadi please? I have been trying for three days now and if you ring at 12.00 is permantly engaged. Have tried at 11.59 answer machine 12.00 - 12.15 engaged. Then always full !!!! Thanks in advance

They do nest excavations and turtle releases at Guzelyali beach at Karsiyaka - not sure when the next release is though sorry. They post release details on their Facebook page: Karsiyaka Turtle Watch. Hope this helps.

There is only one number at Alagadi, it is first come first served, bookings are only taken after noon on the day they are doing releases. It is frustrating not to get booked on to a release but keep trying and don't take it out on the person manning the phones if you don't manage to get a booking, as some people have been doing.
