We will be out in October for our annual two week stay.
We used to buy a turkcell sim and get it inserted into an unlocked old nokia phone, just in case of emergencies.
On the last few times we haven't bothered as we realised that we were never using it. Will I be able to use the tesco phone if I had to or has there been some kind of change and I need to register it somehow? Thanks for any help

I have a UK tesco phones here, it works fine.

My uk phone is Tesco. On the odd occasion I have used it over here works fine

that's great thought there was something about needing to register it to use it

I think you need to check you have the phone on for international calls then you can use it anywhere ( I think !!

Its the phone that needs registering, if you do a search there is a couple of postings on the site.

If you tesco ( O2 ) is unlocked you will be able to use it take you passport to the phone shop when you buy a local Simms card to register the simm
