I've found plenty of info on rabies, tapeworm, TRNC equivalent of a Pet Passport and chipping.
Is there not some supporting documentation needed??????

I really can't believe you needed to say that......some people shouldn't be allowed out without their carer.

I think that is a little unkind and unfair. This is just a person asking for help from somebody out there who may have already done it.

I agree with tomsteel, it was a perfectly honest, straightforward, informative answer.

The only people who will be able to give you an answer that you can rely on 100% are KAR.

Don't listen to anybody on here who tells you otherwise, or you may be disapointed when it all goes tits up !

Completely agree with Keith, KAR are the only organisation With all the up to date information, why risk the life of your pet by missing a price of vital paperwork.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm biased in favour of KAR, however in this case rightly so. I know there are other organisation who are arranging for animals to go to UK and other countries but with the best will in the world, it is only a matter of time before something goes badly wrong. The paperwork and rules and regs can quite literally change overnight and because of KAR and the relationship it has built up over the years with airlines, Government officials and veterinary departments in numerous countries, together with obtaining IPATA status after a lot of hard work, I just wouldn't take the risk to go anywhere else. I know more people, to try and save costs, are going over land, but this can be even more complicated. It only takes a jobs worth on, say the Bulgarian border, and you and your pet can be up to your neck in "do do". I know I've said more than tomsteels one word answer, but in essence its just the same!!

Actually sophie, it was two! But your message is spot on the nose. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why people take short cuts with an animal's life at risk. KAR is the 'authority' on animals movement to/from here. Hence my advice.

Use KAR. We did and i am so grateful we did. We had a nightmare at the Bulgarian border causing us a 13 hour delay. We travelled with two cats and one dog in April this year. KAR were brilliant.

Witchy, can you please elaborate on the problem at the Bulgarian border to help others contemplating this journey? If they are forewarned, they can be forearmed.

Actually I didn't know about the witchy problem, Bulgaria was the first country that came to mind. You can have real problems at almost any land border, only need to have a comma instead of a full stop and its enough for someone to take exception.

Doesn't KAR offer a Pet Transport by road service?
