Not sure if same thing but I have a Barclays Pin Sentry they call it & the battery said low so went into branch for battery information & they gave me a new one. If you are not in UK & it is a Barclays one, I could possibly get one & bring it over 18th September if that is any help

Both of my card readers use 2 x 2032 batteries, so yours are probably the same type.

Any computer shop will stock these, as they are also used as memory backup in computers.

Yucel Photographic, down past HSBC in Girne also, and Mr Pound would be worth a look

Better check the type number and quantity first tho' !

I have a Barclays pin sentry but mine has 4 x LR44 batteries in. Have been looking for months here for new ones. Will try the photographic shop mentioned. Thanks

You normally find plent of LR44 batteries on those cheap blister packs of assorted 'button cells'

Edit: - Also known as AG13 or 357 - & SR14 are a silver oxide, higher quality version

I don't think that they are quite as common in photographic gear, but I think that a good place to look would be Mr Pound, or the Wednesday Market.

Waddo, when I say 'My' card readers, I mean the ones that it is my duty to operate when so ordered - I don't have enough money to warrant even ONE card reader
