Does anyone know if there is still a shop that sells knitting wool in Nicosia.I carried out a topic search on here but can't find any posts relating to this.If anyone knows if this place is open could they provide directions.Im knitting blankets for muts in the different pounds here in the north.Thanks.

If you head for the Ledra Street checkpoint, turn left just before into the Arasta market and the wool shop is just up on the right hand side.

There are 2 shops that i know of in Girne if you want directions also i have odd balls of double knitting if you want it if you live anywhere near Ozankoy we could arrange to meet.

I have a friend who is currently sorting out her cupboards and she will have approx 1 - 2 bin bags of oddments and odd balls of wool if these are any good to you. As per the last post also Ozankoy area.

Poppy, If the original poster doesn't want them could I take the bags of wool please. I am in Catalkoy and will give a donation to your nominated charity if you wish.

Sorry have only just seen replies.I would have some of the wool if there is any left.I use all the wool I have for dogs in KAR,Nicosia pound and FARC so all to good causes.
