Can I ask those whose grandchildren have been out if they gave them boiled bottled water out of a 19 LTR water bottle to drink, my grandson is due to visit who will be seven months old and my daughter in law said that a lot have got too much sodium in so what does everyone do, is there a special water for babies over here or in the south, your help would be greatly appreciated.

mikea11, I cannot help directly, babies being of another long past era. However, I would suggest a direct approach to one of the paediatric hospitals close to where you live (? wherever that is) or contact Chris Offord who as published her contact details on here many times. You might also ask a local mother what she did/does?

Hi, we have the same issue with a grandchild of 1 year visiting soon, daughter in law gave us the sodium details and we found small 330 ml bottles of water by HAYAT produced specially for babies with a picture of a baby on the label in Erderners but I'm sure other shops will do it, comes in a pack of 6 bottles.

Thank you problem now sorted, went to the chemist and he said he could order it in but to try the supermarket, which I did and found it there in the six pack down the baby aisle

The big bottle water is fine for babies. It is only mineral water that is not suitable. Always boil and allow to cool first.
