I think that the Belediye is supposed to be responsible for strays these days, if it has a name tag on its collar or if it's microchipped, then they will be able to reunite it with its owner. And if it hasn't, it will be 'off to the pound '

Hope the Belediere get that one sorted for you,Deniz. Hope it's not another poor soul dumped.

If its hungry but you don;t want to go near, please can you, well away from your property, at least put out food and in this heat a large bowl of water. I know there will be on to say "don't do it", but its the humane thing to do. Thanks.

Is anyone able to take pics of the dog & more importantly take him to the vet to see if he is chipped. TBH he is probably more scared of you, because if he has been dumped then he has no idea where or why he is there. As Sophie says food & more importantly water is the humane thing to do. Thank you

If anybody knows Shaun Watson he is very knowledgable about this breed & used to handling them. If it is starving I very much doubt if it would be aggressive.

If this dog has been dumped, a rescue in UK will take him but he needs to be checked if he has a chip & doesn't have an owner.......
I am trying through to track down Shaun Watson, do you have any more details for him Ozankoys

Sorry I do not have any further info on Shaun we bump into him around once a year in Erol's restaurant. He might not even still live here but thought he would be able to give good advice if he does, as far as I know Dobermanns are not that common a breed here.

What puzzles me is that Deniz1 posted over 14 hours ago but nothing since, I am trying to help from UK but need more information on this dog but if no one is able to take him to a vet to check for a chip there is not a lot more I can do........

Just heard about this, if someone calls me on 0542 883 1519 I will come and try and catch it, I understand there is a way for it to go to the UK but he will need to stay somewhere during this time as my male would NOT accept another dog. I doubt he would be aggressive and would think he is more scared of you than the other way round.
