Does anyone know where I can buy reasonably priced dress fabric please, not Exotic Kumas in Karaglanoglu.

Mermaid Fabrics in Karakum have a good selection.

Same question but for a different reason. I shall need some slacks and skirts altered before cold weather sets in. Once again, please don't recommend Exotic Fabrics. Used to go there years ago, but they are dreadful now.

Most fabric stores offer a sewing service so best to ask and compare

I have always been pleased with the work done by Angela who has a fabric/bedding shop in Girne she has altered a lot of clothes for me & made curtains & bedding. Coming from Lapta at the first (HSBC) roundabout go up between Akpinar Cafe & SOS home towards the stadium. Take 2nd left, right at the end & she is the 2nd shop on the right next to a glass/window place that takes up the corner.
Alternatively there is a tailor on the right hand side just before you get into the village of Ozankoy on the principal road from Girne who is very good.

I was going to give it to a charity shop until i saw that Susan did alterations
So glad i kept it because Susan did a brilliant job.
Would highly recommend her.
