Unfortunately and should I say unsurprisingly there has been a petition started to get it stopped. Needless to say the reasons given do not tell the truth , the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Only the GC version of it.

I have just checked Google Maps and nothing has changed - old Greek names still in evidence!!

Just checked google map on my iPad and the Turkish names are there.

Not bad, although you seem to have included an unwanted 'space' after the first [URL] - it should look like the one above, in the quoted section (I edited your attempt by removing the space). However, as long as it works, that's all that matters...

But the new map does not say TRNC but the full blown title.
Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with a lot more town and village names.
