Hello Everybody,

We are looking for a relable Plumer in the Lapta area

Call in at Ersem Trading and speak to Celal. He has a good plumber working for him. Celal's phone number is: 0533 8602754. Ersem are on the main road going towards Girne, right hand side just before the first Starling Supermarket which is on the left.

Sorry, should have said that Ersem are on the main road at Alsancak!

Just called Ersem on Monday; plumber came to weigh up job same day, came and did job today (Wednesday) as promised - this was following recommendation on another (old) thread, where someone (jokingly?) said price for any/every job was TL150 - guess what? Price today was TL150.......

Was it worth it?

Short version - yes!
Long version - Last September, bought and moved into our holiday pad (never been occupied/used since build in 2009) - so, immediately blamed by neighbour for flooding their place merely by turning on water....
As a result, get (and pay!) plumber to instal new water supply route - then it is discovered that neighbour's drains have been damaged and cause flooding by "backing up".... NOT us!
First visit this year (April) our "re-routed" system works OK - until mains supply is cut off, and then only the hot water taps (via tank/pump) supply water - no cold tap/toilet cistern supply...
Same on the second visit (Sep/Oct), so we've decided to get (AND PAY AGAIN!!) plumber to change our water supply route back to the original (non-neighbour-flooding!) system.....
Mind you, our neighbour has now invented other items to complain about.....

Hi All

Had a problem with my water heater, I called Ersem two workers arrived at apartment assessed that the element was faulty they went got new element fitted it all done within one hour guess what 150tl.

I can't thank Ersem enough for their prompt service and splendid workmanship.

we travel along the main road towards Grine nearly every day!!

as described that would be where Marshalls / pool r us area?? not a plumber around, unles hidden

That's the one; the Marshall's sign is bigger than the Ersem one - see here ....

...and just in case you're in any doubt - Ersem Trading is the Yapi market on the corner!

Celal, one of the owners will arrange for a plumber to call - they've done a few jobs for me, turn up on time, do the job, no problems at all.
