Expats most certainly will suffer considerably as sterling has fallen off the cliff impacting on foreign currency in your pocket. The loss of European status will also have far reaching negative implications as our European status erodes steadily and certainly away.

WAZ, as a German I can say, you are always welcome in Germany. We Germans actually like the Brits.

However, I may add that quality of life here in North Cyprus is much better. When we settled here in 87 it were the Brits who gave us a lot of support und help, anybody remembering people like Allan Cavinder for instance? Maybe all a bit going down in GB, could it be?
At least your decision to leave the EU for me has one positive aspect. With the current rate of exchange I can again afford to buy some more classic watches from there.
