There was a topic on the BRS and I commented on what I thought was a reasonable point. I didn't think there was anything upsetting and indeed thought it would be a good opportunity for someone from the BRS to sell itself. The topic has now completely disappeared from the Forum. Are topics on the BRS not allowed? Is the BRS too sensitive for some?

Hector, there are several threads / posts in which the role of the BRS is mentioned or discussed, to some of which, I see, you have contributed.

To find them, click on 'View your posts' and then type BRS into the search box marked 'search these results' which will be displayed just above, and to the left of the resultant list of posts.

If you can't find the particular post or thread to which you allude, your best bet is to email one of the mods, as they would know whether any action was taken or pending on any such post. There are occasions when mods 'quarantine' a post temporarily if an issue arises which calls for a consensus or debate between the mods. As far as I know, there is not a moratorium on mentioning or criticising BRS, in fact, I've made some very ripe comments on that subject

Thank you for your quick response. I've searched 'View your posts' as you suggested but no trace now exists it appears. I'm obviously pleased that you know of no moratorium on mentioning the BRS. I'll await a response from a moderator who will no doubt pick up on this particular thread to see if it was 'quarantined' for some reason.

Hector, if you want to be certain of a response, then you really do need to PM a 'mod', because they don't read all of the posts, and they are quite likely to ignore a post if it appears to be 'noncontentious'

The BRS post was removed as there was a possibility of legal action against Kibkom.

Moderators will close topics or delete posts on this subject if it is deemed necessary.

There are many oeople who would like to know on what grounds. There are those who wanted an answer to the question of costs in the case of <<Moderated>> and who feel there was NOTHING in that thread which could be used in litigation.

In that case, think that the best course for BRS members would be to approach the BRS chairman and demand answers!

Regarding what was posted on the forum, there may well have been posts made that you didn't see, and for all we know, individuals may have threatened Court Action against the forum. Whether justified or not, this would cost money to defend, and I can't see the forum owner wanting to engage in that sort of exercise just for the fun of it...

As I have already posted, the original thread was removed by the forum owner following a discussion with a lawyer.

It was done to protect this forum and if BRS members have concerns they should contact the BRS direct.

Moderators have been asked to monitor postings about the BRS in order to protect the forum.

Hope this clarifies why the original thread was removed.

BRS members can contact BRS direct for answers. If not happy then they need not renew membership. Simple.

So am I right from what is being said by the moderators that it appears that the BRS have threatened legal action against Kibcom because the BRS has been discussed on the forum?
