Can anyone recommend someone who makes flyscreens please. I have seen good and bad and would obviously like recommendations from people who have had these fitted for a while.
Thanks in advance

I was thinking of replacing my front door with an aluminium one but have had three quotes of £650 - £700 so dont think I will.

Deniz1 Have you tried Blue Island? I had similar quotes to yours and they did mine a lot cheaper, with the same result. I have had 6 huge windows, 2 sets of patio doors, front door with a matching static side panel both with coloured glass, 2 single doors, 4 underhouse storage gates, 3 flyscreens all fitted when they said they would. He also refused to take a deposit. The total cost was 3,000 Sterling. You are more than welcome to come and have a look. His name is Metin 0533 8645667

Posh in Devon, if you know where the Zerochlor shop was then Blue Island is the last shop in the rank. It is down by the Malpas on the main road.

As you get to the main road turn left and its the last shop on the left in the first parade of shops opposite the petrol place.

Has anyone tried the fly screens from temu? They use adhesive hook & eye tapes (Velcro)

Or… has anyone found the fabric and the tapes in any of the local hardware stores? For the “ do it yourselfers” ?

I think with some of these prices, DIY is the way to go.

I've got something in the back of my head that Mr Pound Plus sold these tape fly screens in the past.
Frugal, if you have a look on youtube there are loads of videos.
