Updating posts

Hi, can I just ask if people post items for sale, rental accommodation etc, can they please either update the post or remove it. It is so annoying to reply to something and then be completely ignored for days and then find it hasn't been available all that time. This not only stops wasting other people's time but also the advertisers as well. Thanks
