Following comments made in the thread 'Problems transferring money from UK' I am seriously considering opening another bank acc to transfer money from Nat west to here. My current bank ASBank has to use Vakiflar in Turkey and the transfer details they have given me seem to be difficult to put onto NW's transfer detail format! plus they will charge me about £12-!5.
Noted particularly Agobard's comment about TEB so hoping someone can post details of their location and do they have good English speaking staff?

TEB do have english speaking staff and are situated on the old Lapta to Girne road.

If you are travelling from Lapta direction, follow the road pass Mr Pound, pass Deniz Plaza, over the roundabout with the fountain near the market then you will see TEB bank approx 500 metres on your left.

There is a car park behind TEB so turn left after Comaks

Hi Sukicat, Vakiflar is the same one Santander use as I explained in the original post our money has been lost a couple of times now, this time we have been waiting for nearly 2 weeks with still no sign of it, the problem over here is that you have to deal with your UK bank which is also very expensive when talking on the phone for ages, the TRNC banks can't seem to help locate missing monies without a copy of the Swift Transfer note which your UK bank wont supply, good luck with TEB Bank.
