I've been ask by Un BItless the owner of the AUction centre Lapta( the old Sun Set bar) to let everyone know the premises are closing down in approx 4 weeks so if you have or know anyone who has any items there for sale can they please collect them asap.

There will be someone there from 11 am until 1 pm on Fridays only so you can collect your items. If you can't make that day please call Un to arrange a day that someone can meet you there .

If you think you might have items that have been sold & need payment please call Un on, 0533 865 4959.

Marvellous isn't it? Im sure there will be people who used their facilities to collecti large items, and now they are told they have four weeks to take the stuff away. Its been a dead loss as far as I can see, since its stopped being an Auction House, and where Im going to put my items I don't know. I put them up for sale in order to replace them with new, not have two of everything.

The Lambousa Auction - which now runs every Saturday???

No it's not Lambusa, as it says it "the Auction centre ,Lapta, ( the old Sun Set bar next to the sea, LAmbusa is still holding monthly auctions behind the Lambusa hotel, they were two different company's.

The Lambousa Auction House is open from 09:00 to 13:00 every day except Sunday.

We will be resuming auctions in the Spring. Otherwise we continue to run as an auction-shop until then.

I've had a chat with Un & he said it's fine up to the end of January to collect your unsold items so you have approx 8 weeks and he indicated maybe into February would be ok.

Please don't forget if you think you have money to collect for items sold please call Un or call down any Friday ( only open 11 to 1 pmevery friday) to get this sorted out, there does seem to be envelopes awaiting collection for items sold some going back to April 2016, please spread this message so every one can collect there money .

New 4 you @ the old yellow orchid restaurant in lapta has an auction shop & market/car boot sale. Tables are free for customers wishing to sell goods or we can sell on your behalf. I went down to Lambousa Auction House today and it was shut? Is it open this week?
