Is anyone having a problem with their water meter?? I went down yesterday to top up my card, put it in the meter today and it won't recognise it or load credit. I took it to Girne Belediye who say card is fine, probably water meter but it's not down to them I need to speak to Ozankoy, spoke to them say it's not them who deal with it now its Girne, which I totally understand.. Any ideas anyone????????

Did you try pressing the black button to complete a full cycle of the displays?

Go an see the water meter man in Girne Beli. Go in front door office in rear right corner. He sorted ours after a tenant left us cut off. She did not pay. Used site communal shower!!!!

Tried that, saw two different people and neither of them were of any help, just wanted to pass the buck.

I had the same problem in girne . Went to the office near the Wednesday market . 2men were sitting outside with a couldn't care attitude . Went back with a turkish speaking friend . They said they need servicing now and then . Job done later in the day . It's their responsibility surely !!

Can't understand the purpose or value of the Ozankoy Muhtar office!

A place to dump mail and where you get forms signed - that's about it now!

Actually I always find them very helpful, had a message at 9 this morning from Zoe to say Belidiye man on way. Water meter battery has given up and a new one coming tomorrow (I hope).
