a radio 4 program alerted me to the risk of property fraud especially on mortgage free property
There have been increasing instances of fraudsters gaining control and disposing of UK properties
Especially rented out property
Mortgage free property
Property where the owner is abroad & even still living in the property
The Land registry offer a service that advises you of any activity on your property at the Land Registry
It takes a few minutes to register and is its free
