Be careful if you going are away from your property over Christmas. I have been away for 8 weeks come back 2 days ago and house burgled. mainly took TVs, Jewellery and 2 pair of mens trainer how sad!!! and was coming back to ensure house insurance in place !! However, make sure you have someone look after your house and check in. We did not. Learnt today that our neighbour who is in UK as well as also been burgled.

Anyhow in the meantime, if anyone has a decent flat screen for sale i need it as my dad is coming over for Christmas and is a tele addicted so desperate.

I heard Esta has reasonable house insurance so will enquire. You know that saying gate and horses bolted, never mind aye!!!!!

Where is your property? I only ask because I would like to know if my house is in or near your area and therefore, vulnerable.

If you need to borrow a TVs I can let you have one as I will be away it's not a big one though.

Have you been into the Auction Centre in Lapta/ The one that is closing down. They have a selection of different sizes at give away prices. Just a thought if you don't want to buy a brand new one/

Went down there yesterday and no one is around until Friday.

There was also a spate of break-ins at a couple of Villas up at Malataya a few months ago, they took TVs and electrical goods. It was reported to the police........

May I suggest you speak with your Muhtar in Malataya. She knows everyone in the village and is very good and will help where she can to raise awareness int he area.

Sorry to hear about your break in, we have tv's at New 4 you at the old yellow orchid restaurant in lapta. Various sizes and prices, call me on 05338397787 or pop in. We are open 10-4 mon-Fri 8-1sat. If you take the road opposite the Hut up towards lapta village take the first right and right again before aeria bar you will find us down 100m on the left. Call if you need help to find us.

I have just come back from the UK and brought yet more security locks, i can supply and fit at reasonable prices, i have now fitted more than 600 locks, free quotes 0533 848 3939

My husband does that too and has just fitted new security locks

I have just ordered a CCTV System for the villa from Boravin. 4cameras and nonitored from the TV. Yet to be installed.Hopedully it will deter intruders or at least give me a picture of who is responsible. So sorry to hear of your problems but the police here have a good record of catching these pernicious people. Might even get a reduced insurance premium?
