I think it is 500 litres. The smaller of the two sizes they do anyway.

What paperwork do you require to renew the gas permit please?

Got ours this afternoon - 59.50TL for a 1750 ltr tank. Though I think you only had one day to do this then from next week you pay a 15% fine for being tardy. You must pay in december to avoid this

Don't take too much notice of opening and closing times! We went for a third time to pay only to find at 2.50pm Friday the office was closed, no one around at all, despite the notice stating Cuma closing 3.30pm! yes, I know, par for the course here, silly me!

We got there at 1.45pm on Friday and left at about 2.30 when the doors were still open so you must have been very unlucky. I suggest legal action if you get charged the 15% surcharge!

It seems frontal man should rename himself rear end man. The permit as of this morning 2nd Jan 2017 was 59.50TL for a 1750L tank.

I fear that you have missed the point entirely...

The post before yours, post number 10 of this thread, posted 20 minutes before yours on Mon Jan 02, 2017 12:12 pm, stated "The permit as of this morning 2nd Jan 2017 was 59.50TL for a 1750L tank."

To be sure, to be sure, you should always bet each way. I was only going on what had been stated on a previous thread on the subject - obviously duff information

Frontalman, we were told by the district office personnel that it had to paid in December to avoid a fine so if it's duff information it came from an official's mouth originally...........

The saga continues ...... we assumed, wrongly, that Monday the Permit office man would not be there, wrong - he was, for a short time.
Today Tuesday, we got in to that office, the Permit Man was there and he informed us that we couldn't pay because the 'government' were going to amend the paying month to January so that no one is fined for late payment!!! No - you really couldn't make it up, could you!! We were given another tele number, having been told the one given out in December did not work (his words!) and we have to ring on Thursday to see if they have made up their minds whether we can pay or not, fine or no fine!! We did ask if we could have a deduction for 4 visits in to his office from Karsiyaka ............

Just been in myself, told I couldn't renew my permit because of the reason stated above as well but also told I would be fined but would not be able to pay it till February. I think maybe something was lost in translation. But was informed the fine would be 1TL 38 Kurus but could not pay it at the place you get the permit from. You cannot make it up.

Did the same today. Third time without success! Last Friday after queueing for an hour+ only to be told we couldn't pay when we eventually got to the desk!

I apologise Panchocat, no doubt your comment was informed and sincere. It seems like they extended December for one working day in January just to give Telstar the opportunity to Rearend me!!

Frontalman.
Happy New Year and we look forward to the saga being repeated again in December!
Unless of course officialdom gets their act together and the left hand knows what the right is doing................

Collected my new permit this morning-was fined 1 lira for late payment but given I live in Esentepe ( where the rich live) I paid it.

No fuss ,no bother and I didn't have any previous paperwork with me.

No fuss yesterday.
Gas permit was renewed with a 3% fine for late payment tl 1.25 giving total of tl 42.25.
Was told we could wait until February when the law is to be changed & no fine would be applicable.
Paid smartly & left we were in & out in about 5 minutes.
Happy New Year
