Flying in to larnaca and travelling to Kyrenia. 10000 euro cash limit from Uk to Larnaca but does anyone know if you can take same amount from south to north please

Coming in to or leaving Ercan the maximum is 9999US Dollars. I would think it is the same coming from the south.
