Heartfelt sympathy to Jill, I can't begin to understand how she must feel...

Did not know about Mad Ray until a few weeks ago when posted on this forum that he was ill in hospital.
Shocked to see this news this morning... my sincere condolences go out to his wife and family.

when I saw the title of the thread I said aloud 'Oh no!'. What a rotten shame . My sympathy to his wife and all who lov ed him.

But may I also ask a question ? Is the quiz still on, because I assume that Jillian still has to find the medic al costs and there is a funeral to pay for. Please let me, and others know as to whether we need to support it to help out with the finances, or whether there is no need.

AGAIN, deepest sympathies. Such a shame, but then the pancreas is a nasty little thing when it becomes sick. I lost one o fmy best mates to pancreatic cancer. wonderful bloke, but unfortunately we have only one pancreas and therefore there is no other organ to compensate. bad design that, I reckon, and I will tell God so when I meet him - but preferably not too soon. Ray is already on his way for the next exciting part ofhis journey as a soul, so maybe he can have a moan to God himself.

So sorry to hear this sad news.

Having spoken to Jill at the hospital a few weeks ago, have the greatest admiration for her total support virtually living at the hospital giving care with the help of friends.

Jill you were and I'm sure still are a shining star .

So sorry to hear this news, he was a true gent, who loved a laugh and a bit of karaoke. I will always remember him singing on mine.
