Hi all, Can anyone recommend a good lawyer / accountant in TRNC? I'm a Brit looking to do a will and a few other legal bits as well as trying to organise some financials but i need a lawyer and accountant here who can assist and are used to dealing with Expats. Thanks!

Be aware, there are no qualified 'lawyers' in the TRNC as you might expect as per UK legal system. They are 'advocates' who owe no duty of care to their clients or any indemnity insurance but they will charge high hourly rates. 'Caveat Emptor' is the advice as so many have found to their personal cost. Search through many, many previous threads on the topic on this forum.

Do be very, very, very careful. Its a minefield out there.

We used Naomi Mehmet & Partners in Kyrenia for property purchase and will writing, and were pleased with the service. Naomi was trained in the UK and speaks perfect English, and many of the staff are English which helps.

I would second that! We also used Niaomi Mehmet as well for our purchase and she offered a first class service. She has also offered guidance to the Esentepe water meter issue
